Presents for Ben

Ben's 21st is this Saturday, and since NO ONE has bothered to try and organise a present, looks like it'll be me. Again. As usual. Dan and I had a preliminary look today and we couldn't really find anything (cues snide remark like "You spent too much time looking in Club X"), so I'll have to try and find something with Dom tomorrow. Anyway, I did a little brainstorming at the gym, and came up with a list of known things Ben likes, as well as fun and practical presents.

Star Wars Mechandise - impress the ladies
100 chicken burritos
Simplified Arabic for White Infidels
Hardcore man on man
The Best of Boy George and Culture Club
1 (one) silver dollar
1 (one) SIX NINE - Special Love Toy for Adult
Britney's Dance Beat for Playstation 2
Oppai Ball *G Cup* -- Breast Ball
1 (one) incestuous japanese sex game

Asides from that, I've been listening to Prisoners of Love by Yo La Tengo, a great band if you like blissful dream pop crooning, but chances like usual, you guys aren't going to like it and will prefer that hip pop rubbish they play on the radio (especially you girls). Guys talking about sex, we're all horny bastards...but guys singing about sex is A-OK, lets buy a bajillion of their records and idolise them because for some strange reason they're different and better than the average guy on the street. Do I sound bitter? Not at all.

I finished my shameful Conan the Barbarian Anthology, and I've almost finished Shiva Option, a military SF novel, so I;'m either going to take a break from reading fiction (I'm still reading a Life of Mao), or pick up a copy of Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. Choices Choices. Anyway, don't forget to vote for the local elections (early reminder I know), I know it doesn't seem important, but it would be rude to remind you of our civic responsibility to exercise our right in having a say in our government, no matter how small and seemingly unimportant it may be. Ironic reminder really, considering I'm a libertarian. Bye!
