I had a dream last night you took me by the hand
And we went off someplace in a faraway land
I asked you to promise that you'd never ever go
And if thats what you did I'd never ask for anything at all

Hey baby, look how pretty you are
standing there with a smile on your face
A girl like that i'll never be afar
And I'd never let you go without a chase...

Everyday I look at you I wonder if I see
In those pretty eyes whether you feel the same as me
And everytime we say goodbye it makes me wanna cry
And the words I wanna say to you just turn into a sigh

Hey baby, look how pretty you are
holding my hand as if you'd never let go
a girl like you I'd never be afar
and if you gave me the chance I'd let the whole world know

Sometimes I wish I'd never talked to you at all
That my heart wouldn't break like it's breaking so
But everytime I see your face I change my mind again
Even though being close to you brings me so much more pain

Lying there with a twinkle in your eye
A girl like you I'd never leave afar
And if you don't say the words I could just possibly die

If you say those words I feel my heart could fly.
